This FAQ provides answers to frequently asked questions about Bravvo points:
Earning Points:
How do I earn points?
- You primarily earn points by receiving recognitions from colleagues.
- You may also receive points for onboarding, work anniversaries, birthdays (depending on your organization's setup), and completing challenges.
Do points expire?
- No, points earned from recognitions accumulate and do not reset at the end of the month.
Using Points:
What can I spend points on?
- You can spend earned points on "impact actions" in the Bravvo store. These actions may include charitable donations, team-building activities, or other rewards designated by your organization.
Can I spend my points on myself?
- No, your point allocation (points to distribute to others) is separate from your earned points (points received from recognitions). You cannot spend allocation points on yourself.
Can I use points received from others to fulfill my distribution quota?
- No, points received from recognitions cannot be used to fulfill your own distribution quota.
Managing Points:
How can I see my point balance?
- Your point balance is displayed when giving recognition, allowing you to distribute points responsibly.
What happens to unused points allocated to me each month?
- Points allocated to you by managers or admins at the beginning of the month will reset to zero if not distributed by the end of the month.
Who sets the point value for recognition?
- Administrators define the point value associated with each recognition type (e.g., "Thank You" = 5 points, "Good Job" = 10 points, "Exceptional" = 20 points).
Additional Points for Managers and Admins:
What are Awards Programs?
- Awards Programs are additional point budgets for managers and admins. These points can be used to recognize outstanding colleagues or employees for specific achievements.
